Christian Horner, the Red Bull team principal, has recently found himself in extremely hot waters. He was accused by a female employee of showing inappropriate behavior and for this, Horner has come under criticism from all angles.
Seeing the seriousness of the situation, the Red Bull group has brought into play an independent investigation body to look into the saga. While a lot has been already said about the ongoing investigation, the F1 insiders have come up with a massive update.
As reported by GB News, the F1 insiders believe that the 50-year-old is ‘not expected to survive’ at Red Bull after the conclusion of the ongoing investigation. However, despite the Austrian outfit looking for a swift verdict on the ongoing saga, there is a general belief that it will take quite some time.
Moreover, as per some of the sources, there is a very good chance that the Horner investigation will drag on into the upcoming 2024 F1 season. Red Bull is slated to present its car on the 15th of February and after that, the season begins on the 29th with the Bahrain Grand Prix.
Geri Halliwell is expected to support her husband Christian Horner fully
While Christian Horner has found himself in a spot of bother with the ongoing investigation, it is believed that his wife, the former Spice Girls star, Geri Halliwell, will have her full faith in Horner.
Earlier this week a source told Daily Star, as reported by GB News:
She will stand by him and be at his side just as much as she always has been. She never misses a race and that will not change.
Christian Horner is one of the most prominent names in F1. He has been leading Red Bulls charge since 2005 and has so far, played a huge role in helping the team land a brilliant seven world championships.

Four of the seven were won by Sebastian Vettel during his 2010-2013 Red Bull era, whereas, the next three have come the way of Red Bull courtesy of the reigning world champion, Max Verstappen.
During Red Bulls’ upcoming car launch, Christian Horner is likely going to get bombarded with questions about the ongoing investigation.
