Christian Horner faced severe scrutiny from the paddock in the past few weeks over inappropriate behavior allegations. The 50-year-old was eventually cleared of all claims. Now, the Briton has commented on allegations against FIA President Mohammed Ben Sulayem.
The Emirati presently faces accusations of trying to interfere with an F1 race result along with allegations of attempting to withhold Las Vegas GP certification. Subsequently, the FIA President will be investigated regarding the same.
Christian Horner claimed that he has learned from his own investigation that one shouldn’t make any assumptions. The Briton highlighted that the FIA would conduct a thorough investigation regarding the allegations on Mohammed Ben Sulayem
I think the one thing that I've seen and learned certainly from any investigation is that don't pre-empt the facts. The Red Bull Team Principal urged fans to not pre-judge the FIA President. Rather, the 50-year-old claimed that fans needed to wait till the facts of the situation were officially disclosed. Christian Horner reaffirmed that fans needed to wait to see the reality before making any assumptions about the allegations.
All I would urge is don't prejudge. Wait for the facts. Wait to see what is the reality before coming to a judgment.
Christian Horner refuses to reveal any details of Red Bull investigation
Red Bull GmbH cleared Horner of all allegations. However, the Austrian giant did not disclose any details to the public citing the privacy of the involved parties. Subsequently, Christian Horner has declined to reveal any information about the nature of the accusations. The 50-year-old urged fans to move on from the case entirely.
Red Bull Racing officially suspended the female employee who had accused Horner. The two were reportedly working together at last weekend’s Bahrain GP. However, the identity of the employee has not been revealed to the public.
Certainly, Christian Horner will be looking to leave the investigation saga behind. The 50-year-old will be fully focused on the Saudi Arabian GP this weekend. Red Bull remains the favorite for the 2024 F1 season with Horner aiming to lead Milton Keynes to another historic campaign this year.
