The 2024 silly season in Formula 1 is well underway with multiple major news surfacing every week. Amidst the usual preparations for the season, Christian Horner had allegations of inappropriate behavior to his crew member at Red Bull. Hence, an independent investigation over the entire matter has been set up, and have been fighting it out since then.

Max Verstappen was spotted driving the Red Bull RB-20 at Silverstone before the car launch on 15th February. However, amongst the usual crew of Red Bull attending the shakedown, Horner was one of the attendees of the race despite his ongoing case. Regardless of the rumors and allegations, the Briton had denied any such behavior from his end as such.

Although major news surrounding the Red Bull team principal hasn’t been revealed to the public, reports spotted the 50-year-old at the circuit. Hence, as the team prepares for the chassis reveal, the entire crew awaits the results of the investigation as Horner is essential for the team. Red Bull GmbH asserted that it was inappropriate to comment on the status quo without any proper investigation.

Bernie Ecclestone asked Christian Horner to resign before the public disclosure allegation details

Amongst other shocking revelations, other news surrounding the entire matter was highlighted. Reportedly, Ex-F1 CEO Bernie Ecclestone had asked Christian Horner to resign from his position before the entire case went public. However, as expected, Horner has refused to take responsibility for the allegations and denied them again.

Horner was called in for questioning last Friday and his entire session went on for around eight hours. However, no major news about the session was made public as Red Bull has decided to keep the entire matter private for now. If the allegations turn out to be true, Milton Keynes’ entire image and the coming season will be in trouble.

Regardless, Red Bull continues preparation for the chassis reveal as well as the 2024 season. The team has faced multiple hitches along the way before the commencement of the season. However, Milton Keynes would try their best to replicate their 2023 season’s performance in the coming season as well.
