Christian Horner has been having a difficult time lately. The 50-year-old was once again under the spotlight with a massive alleged evidence leak. This came just hours after the Briton was cleared of all allegations by Red Bull GmbH. It seems that Horner’s case has taken a toll on his wife and former Spice Girls member Geri Halliwell.

When Red Bull launched an investigation into claims against Christian Horner, Halliwell stood firmly by her husband. However, the alleged leak has changed the 51-year-old’s mindset regarding her husband. Geri Halliwell and Horner’s marriage might even be at risk because of the humiliation felt by the ex-Spice Girl.

As per the DailyMail, Halliwell was supposed to attend the Bahrain GP. The 51-year-old would’ve been present right alongside Christian Horner on the grid. Horner’s ally and Red Bull majority owner Charlerm Yoovidhya would be with the Red Bull team boss as well. However, Geri Halliwell has been devastated by the news of the alleged evidence email.

The former Spice Girls member had left the UK for Bahrain before the controversial email made the news. Subsequently, Geri Halliwell has reconsidered the entire situation. A source close to Horner and Halliwell claimed that it was unclear if she would attend the race. Certainly, things could be chaotic for the ex-Spice Girl if she joins her husband this weekend.

However, Geri Halliwell could even fly back to the United Kingdom and ditch Christian Horner altogether. Although, it must be noted that there has been no official comment from Halliwell on this matter.

Is Christian Horner losing control over his future?

Christian Horner has denied all accusations regarding the investigation so far. The 50-year-old seemed to get a green shit from Red Bull after the conclusion of the investigation. However, the alleged leak of evidence has put the Briton into a tough spot once again. The alleged evidence contains screenshots that allegedly show Horner asking for inappropriate images from the female employee.

The F1 and the FIA met during the Bahrain GP weekend to discuss the situation regarding Christian Horner. So far the two parties have not taken any action against the 50-year-old while entrusting Red Bull for a fair process. However, things could change if the situation gets out of hand in the coming days.

Certainly, Christian Horner’s case could be one of the biggest scandals in recent times. However, there has been no confirmed evidence released to the public. As such, fans need to take the alleged evidence with a massive pinch of salt before making their own conclusions over the entire saga.
