The F1 extravaganza is getting back into gear on the upcoming 25th of August with the Dutch GP. However, amidst the ever-building hype, climate activists have decided to protest around the Zandvoort F1 circuit. Their actions have led to the blocking of the road leading to the track and have stopped trucks from assessing the area.

The Dutch GP has always been a big event where people around the world tune in to see the F1 drivers take their machinery for a spin at high speeds. Moreover, the characteristics of the track are such that it allows for exciting racing and, more often than not, lives up to the expectation levels of the fans.

The upcoming race is the first event of the second leg of the 2023 season, and considering this, the climate activist might have decided to hold their protest at the track because of the huge media coverage that would be keeping tabs on everything that would be happening around the track during the three-day event.

The event is still a few days away, and until then, the race organizers have time to sort out the situation brewing in and around the Zandvoort circuit. It would be in the best interest of everyone if the current situation is sorted out as soon as possible so that the organizers could ensure the smooth conduct of the three-day event.

While the organizers of the Dutch GP have found themselves in a pickle with the ongoing protest at the circuit, the event also happens to be the home race of the reigning F1 World Champion, Max Verstappen. He has been sensational this year and wants to continue his winning run at Zandvoort.

The Red Bull F1 team has produced a beast in the form of the RB19 this year, and none of the other drivers can stand up against it. Moreover, in the hands of Verstappen, it becomes a mighty weapon, and this is one of the main reasons why he has so far managed 10 Grand Prix wins in the 2023 season.

FP1 and FP2 sessions will take place on the upcoming Friday. From the organizer’s point of view, it will be crucial to fix the ongoing situation with climate activists and stop it from escalating any further. The upcoming days are going to be extremely critical in this regard.
