The 2023 Las Vegas GP is the penultimate race of the ongoing campaign, and while the workaround it is in full swing, a worker has unfortunately died while doing his duties at the track. It has come to light that a man suffered a major neck laceration while working at the site’s famous Bellagio Fountains on the Las Vegas Strip.

The event occurred around 11:30 a.m., and as per the Las Vegas Metro Police Department, the worker was rushed to the hospital, ultimately succumbing to his injuries. The Occupational Safety and Health Administration is conducting a thorough investigation of the incident. It is believed that the worker most likely incurred his injury while doing his part in constructing MGM Resorts International’s grandstand for VIP race viewing in Bellagio Lake.

The upcoming November event is probably one of the few rare events, the marketing of which started from the very first race of the season. The organizers and the hierarchy of the pinnacle of motor racing are leaving no stone unturned in making it one of the biggest spectacles of the 2023 seasons across all sporting events.

The Las Vegas strip is a well-renowned place all over the globe, and the idea of having F1 cars race on it is an extremely fascinating affair from the point of view of the die-hard fans of the sport. Considering the cost that has been incurred to make the event a reality, the ticket prices for it are also going to be off the charts and are going to take a hefty toll on people’s pockets.
