Daniel Ricciardo has been synonymous with Red Bull for quite a while now. The Australian driver was the reserve driver for the Austrian team before joining AlphaTauri and replacing Nyck De Vries. The 34-year-old has given impressive results while being in the Red Bull sister team, and following Sergio Perez’s recent performance slump, speculations arrived that speculated a possible Red Bull entry for Ricciardo in 2024.

The 34-year-old has been confirmed as the second driver for AlphaTauri for the next season and has since commented on the recent speculations. The Mexican talked about his contract and insisted that he would stay with the team for at least the remainder of the next season and declined the swap with Daniel Ricciardo. The Veteran also criticized those who spread the rumors and commented that ‘rumors are rumors’

The 33-year-old veteran is in a cut-throat competition with Lewis Hamilton for the runner-up spot in the championship standings. With just three more races left on the calendar, everything lies in the hands of the Mexican to prove his worth to Red Bull and possibly seal his contract with the team past 2024.
