“It’s as simple as that,” Daniil Kvyatt reveals key-secret for catching Red Bull F1 in 2023
Danii Kvyatt has talked about the solution that could help Red Bull's rivals in catching up to them.
Daniil Kvyat and Red Bull
The Red Bull F1 team has proved extremely strong in the first three races of the 2023 season, and none of the other outfits have been able to come up with a potent enough answer to its masterpiece, the RB19. Many in the paddock believe it would be very difficult to catch them this year, but former Red Bull driver, Daniil Kvyat has revealed the solution to break Red Bull’s domination.
The first three races of the ongoing campaign have all been won by the Red Bull driver, and Daniil Kvyat, while dwelling on the solution to break Red Bull’s strong run, said, “But now people understood that the only way to beat them is to copy their car…Finally. It’s as simple as that. I think they definitely this year [will stay dominant], maybe next year finally people will catch up, but this year still looks way ahead of everyone.”
“Maybe towards the end of the year with development, people will be able to get closer, but I still think yeah, they are obviously dominating, also Honda, the engine has been great, and they have everything they need.” Daniil Kvyat has made it clear that to break the Milton-Keynes-based team’s dominance in the ongoing campaign or during the upcoming campaigns until 2026, the other rival teams would simply have to copy its car.
He does not see any other solution for the lights of Ferrari, and Mercedes that would help close the gap to Max Verstappen and Co. at the front end of the grid. He is quite right in his assessment, as the car concepts of the above-mentioned teams just haven’t proved strong enough to become a nuisance for the Red Bull F1 team.

Daniil Kvyat’s take on Red Bull’s 2023 F1 Campaign
As things stand at the pinnacle of motor racing this year, Red Bull is comfortably sitting at the top of the Constructors standings with a decent gap. Moreover, Sergio Perez and Max Verstappen have both scored victories for the team. When Daniil Kvyat was asked to talk about how he thinks the 2023 season would pan out, he said, “It’s going to be boring!“
“But the next one maybe will be interesting, when Mercedes and Ferrari will step up the game, and understand what pieces to copy. Then it will be probably more interesting.” Kvyat has indicated that this year’s F1 campaign is going to be all about Red Bull dominance, but feels, teams like Mercedes and the Maranello-based Ferrari F1 team would be able to give Red Bull a run for their money in 2024.
Taking everything into account that has been said, Kvyat, it seems the fans of F1 would have to make do with a two-way fight for the Drivers Championship this year. However, F1 has always been an unpredictable sport where unprecedented things have happened, can you see any other team giving Red Bull tough competition from the upcoming Azerbaijan GP onwards?
