Lewis Hamilton is a part owner of the National Football League team Denver Broncos. He is part of the group that purchased the team for $4.65 Billion on August 9th, 2022. The principal owners of the team are the Walmart heirs. Hamilton jumped at the chance to own the team and attended his first game in October 2022.

Lewis Hamilton’s Denver Broncos bid was part of his push for diversity
Hamilton believes in black ownership and has expressed it often. After becoming a part owner of the team, the Briton stated, “There’s a real lack of black ownership in the NFL, and I’m pushing for diversity constantly. There’s a lot of work to do, and I’m really proud to be part of it”. Hamilton called it an honor to be associated with Denver Broncos.
The Briton had been to several super bowl games and enjoyed them thoroughly. So, when the seven-time world champion got an opportunity to be a part of the team, he could not resist. He stated on Jimmy Kimmel Show during last season’s US GP, “Melody Hobson (Chairwoman of Starbucks) called me and said she had this amazing opportunity and would I like to be a part of it, and I jumped at it”.
Lewis Hamilton is known to commit to something only if it promotes diversity. He often mentioned how important it is to him. It is no wonder Hamilton’s vision aligns with the NFL team Denver Broncos. He is pleased to be a part of the team. Now, the Bahrain Grand Prix is about to begin, and the Briton is focused on that. During the pre-season testing and media day, fans had wished him good luck, and Hamilton received it happily. One can imagine his joy when his team wished him well for the new season.
