Jonathan Davenport, the Dirt race sensation, is very soon going to be seen doing his thing in the NASCAR CUP series. He will race on the 9th of April for Kaulig racing at the Bristol Dirt Race event. It is the annual NASCAR race that takes place on dirt. So far in his career, the 39-year-old has made his name via his brilliant performances in the Super Dirt Late Model series.

Moreover, Jonathan Davenport won 24 races in the super dirt late models and triumphed in the XR Super Series title last year. He is no stranger to the Bristol dirt track and is raring to go during next month’s big event. Davenport has got all the skills in his arsenal to do well at the track as in April last year, he was able to fend off the tough challenge of Kyle Larson to record his second win with World of Outlaws.

Nutrien Ag Cauling Solutions will sponsor his cup entry. They have the partners of Kaulig racing since 2019. Almost everything is in place to let Davenport race in Bristol, and he has recently talked about his upcoming opportunity. While sharing his thoughts, he added, “This is literally a dream come true for me. I’ll get to race against the best race car drivers in the world and will get to do it at one of my favorite tracks.”

We started working on this last October during the Roval weekend in Charlotte and to see it come to fruition is absolutely amazing.” Jonathan Davenport is ready for the upcoming challenge and has made it crystal clear that the opportunity of racing in the NASCAR Cup Series is really like a dream coming true for him. Moreover, he is excited about sharing the stage with some of the best drivers of the Cup Series.

While Davenport is eagerly waiting for the 9th of April, Kaulig Racing President, Chris Rice is also very much looking forward to seeing Davenport at the Bristol dirt event. He is somewhat of a fan of Davenport, and while praising him recently, he said, “Jonathan Davenport is an all-time favorite of mine because of how well he has done in his dirt racing career.

I’m super excited to have his side of dirt racing intermix with NASCAR and see what he can do in one of our Kaulig Racing Chevrolets. He’s a great guy, a great racer and we’re looking forward to making our relationship with Nutrien Ag Solutions deeper.

Looking at Chris Rice’s comments, it seems he is just as excited as Jonathan Davenport for what is heading the way of the latter. The 39-year-old has a wealth of experience when it comes to racing on dirt tracks. However, one thing that he does not possess yet is the experience of going against some of the best NASCAR drivers.

Considering this fact, would the dirt maestro be able to hold his ground during the upcoming Bristol event? The practice for the event will take place on the 7th of April, and after that, everyone will get a reasonable idea as to where Donavan would stand in comparison to the seasoned NASCAR drivers.
