Formula 1 fans have experienced quite a few inspirational stories since the sport’s inception but one that is still quite high on the list is that of the Ross Brawn-led Brawn GP F1 team. They shocked the whole world during the 2009 campaign and it has been recently announced by Disney that they are going to release their four-part docu-series on the team from 15th November onwards on Hulu. The series will be presented by Hollywood star, Keanu Reeves.

The work around the series has been going on for quite some time and finally, after months and months of hard work, the series is ready to go online. Brawn GP has a remarkable F1 story

While the release of the four-part docu-series is not too far away, the Brawn GP story is nothing short of remarkable. During the 2008 campaign, Honda was struggling massively to keep the team running, and after reaching a certain threshold, the Japanese manufacturer decided to pull the plug on the team. Ross Brawn stepped in and took control ahead of the 2009 campaign.

In 2009, Honda had a speedy car for the F1 season. The Brawn GP BGP001, with its clever double diffuser design, was super-fast. It made a big entrance during winter testing. Then, in Melbourne, Rubens Barrichello and Jenson Button took the front row in the first race.

This Brawn car shocked everyone in F1. Button won six out of seven races at the start of the 2009 season. No one could catch up. Button clinched the F1 world championship in Brazil. Mercedes bought the team in 2009, and in 2010, they raced as a factory team.
