EA Sports announced July 1, 2022, as the release date of the much-anticipated game F1 22. And now, along with a new trailer for the game, the posters have also been revealed for two editions of the game- The Standard Edition and The Champions Edition.
The cover of the Standard Edition features Ferrari driver and the current WDC leader Charles Leclerc, McLaren’s Lando Norris, and Mercedes George Russell. All of them have won at least a podium so far this season and appear to be driving better than their teammates. As the poster didn’t feature the current world champion Max Verstappen, the fans questioned the absence, which was later explained by the launch of the other poster.

Championship’s edition features Max Verstappen at the forefront, with 7x champion Lewis Hamilton, 4x champion Sebastian Vettel, and 2x champion Fernando Alonso in the background. These are the active driver champions and thus feature on the cover of the highest of the two editions of the F1 22 game.

Over the last few years, the buyers of the higher edition of the game have gotten early access as one of the perks. This year too, the case remains the same as the Champions edition buyers will get three days of early access to the game and Miami-inspired content pack.

The Champions edition will also come with the following: F1 Life Starter Pack, F1 22 New Era Content, New My Team Icons, and 18,000 PitCoin, all of which may not be included in the standard edition pack.

The pricing of the two games differs drastically. While on Steam the Standard edition costs £49.99, the Champions edition is £69.99. More perks about the higher edition are yet to be revealed.
