Lewis Hamilton, the Mercedes Formula 1 driver, has had a struggle since the dawn of the new F1 regulations. While the picture has somewhat improved for him in comparison to 2022, it is still not good enough. The W14 has proved extremely unpredictable and amidst his torrid run, former F1 driver, Timo Glock has revealed the biggest issue with the Mercedes car.
Lewis Hamilton had high hopes ahead of the ongoing campaign, but, just after a few races, his optimism around the car came to an abrupt stop. Moreover, despite the recent solid performance output from the car in a few Grand Prix, Hamilton and Co. are not at all pleased.
A lot has been already said about the woes of the 38-year-old at Brackley-based team, Timo Glock while shedding light on the biggest problem at Mercedes said:
The most challenging thing for a team is to keep a group together and now they have a lot of change, that's influencing the team, and the performance of the team. But everyone is facing that at the moment. Even Red Bull is losing some guys, which could affect the team. In the end, that's the biggest challenge for Mercedes; to regroup again and get the team in the right direction.
Glock has given an in-detail view of the main problem at the German team.

While Timo Glock feels the recent departure of individuals from Mercedes has had a really bad impact on the team, Lewis Hamilton has only got two races to go in the cockpit of the lackluster W14. With Brazil out of the way, only the Las Vegas GP and the Abu Dhabi one are remaining on the calendar.
Hamilton’s outing at the Autodromo Jose Carlos Pace F1 Circuit was nothing short of a horror show. Starting from P5, he only slipped backward on the grid and had to see an Alpine zoom past around him. Despite his best efforts, he was only able to manage an eighth-place finish.

Lewis Hamilton was the top dog at the pinnacle of motor racing during the turbo hybrid era. None of his rivals were able to stand up against him. While Mercedes is currently struggling, it would not be right to count them out just yet. Who knows they might be able to make a roaring comeback into the world title fight in 2024.
