F1 teams and their Premier League equivalent featuring McLaren, Alpine, Alfa Romeo and AlphaTauri

McLaren and Alpine
McLaren, Alpine, Alfa Romeo and AlphaTauri are pretty decent teams but have failed to come anywhere close to the likes of Red Bull and Mercedes. All these teams have shown decent performances in patches but nothing consistent enough for them to be considered title contenders. Let’s have a look at these teams fighting to be the best of the rest and their premier league equivalent teams.
McLaren X Chelsea

McLaren have a knack to hit their purple patch once in a while but also crumbles when it comes to doing it season after season. Just like papaya orange, the blues of Chelsea win once in a while but don’t have the depth to put themselves up against the likes of Man City and Liverpool again the following season. The money has helped to put them there and there about but need quality for them to get over the line.
Alpine X Arsenal

We saw the best of Alpine, formerly known Renault, back in 2005 and the same can be said about Arsenal who won their last Premier League title in 2004. While Alpine has 12 constructor’s championships, Arsenal has 13 premier league title to their name and therefore, the similarities are uncanny. Both the teams have tasted success in the past and have had to resort to the old guns in Fernando Alonso and Mikel Arteta to resurrect the team. There has been positive signs and consistency is the key now.
AlphaTauri X Southampton

AlphaTauri has always been a feeder team. There is no driver in F1 who wants to stay at AlphaTauri as the goal is always to go to a bigger team. The fact that usually AlphaTauri drivers are signed by Red Bull (a team we compared to Liverpool) makes it so obvious. AlphaTauri is in itself a pretty decent team but doesn’t have the same ambition of a Ferrari or a McLaren.

Alfa Romeo X West Ham

It’ll be safe to say Alfa Romeo is not one of the best teams around but they always find a way to somehow comfortably finish in the midfield. Both West Ham and Alfa Romeo have the potential to upset the top dogs which also make them the dark horses more often than not. Unfortunately, both these teams underperform. Therefore, there’s a lot to improve upon.
