Lewis Hamilton is one of the biggest names in F1 history. The seven-time world champion enjoys a massive following on social media across platforms. On Instagram, the British driver is followed by a staggering 34.8 Million users, the most for an F1 driver. As such, millions of fans were confused when Hamilton created a burner account on the Meta-owned platform.
The 38-year-old followed a mysterious account on Instagram with the username “@ev10am26la.” This is only the fourth account that Lewis Hamilton has followed on this platform. The other three are his pet Roscoe’s official account, the Mission 44 initiative, and his +44 merchandise line. This made it clear that this new account was related to the seven-time champion.
Moreover, the Instagram bio of this account says, “LH burning account.” The initials once again hint at Lewis Hamilton. Interestingly, Hamilton might have made a burner account on the platform. A burner account is an account made to essentially scroll through a platform anonymously for a short period of time. However, it seems that the Mercedes driver failed to keep his anonymity. Although, Hamilton has made no confirmation regarding this account.
