The Australian driver Daniel Ricciardo has been in the sport for a long time. The Australian is famous for his fun and jolly personality and great racing skills. Currently racing for Alphatauri, Ricciardo recently appeared on Jimmy Kimmel‘s show before the highly-anticipated Las Vegas GP weekend.
The Honey Badger has been scoring impressive results in Red Bull’s sister team, AlphaTauri. Although Ricciardo faced a challenge in the recent Brazilian GP as he finished a mediocre P13, Ricciardo doesn’t fail to impress the paddock with his bubbling personality.

Daniel Ricciardo was one of the guest appearances on Jimmy Kimmel’s live talk show. In the episode, Ricciardo talked about the growing popularity of the sport due to the mega-famous series Drive to Survive on Formula 1. The Aussie also gave insights on what it’s like to be an F1 driver and sit inside the super-fast F1 cars.
The 34-year-old also commented on the hardships that a driver faces before entering the world of motorsports, especially F1. Ahead of the Las Vegas GP, Ricciardo also talked about the first-timer GP from Las Vegas. Finally, both of them played a reflex game with tennis balls, which showcased the fast reflexes of an elite sportsperson like that in F1.
The guest appearance was for a total of 8 minutes and 44 seconds, and Ricciardo talked a lot about F1 and his other social media quips. Additionally, Lewis Hamilton and Ricciardo are the only two F1 drivers ever to have an appearance on the live show. That in itself is an impressive feat.
Fans shared their opinions about the appearance on X
In a recent tweet on X, multiple fans shared their opinions about this PR attempt from Daniel Ricciardo. The fans seemed to hold a negative stance over this appearance as the majority of the fans criticized Daniel Ricciardo. One fan called him a ‘PR merchant’ to poke at Ricciardo further.

Meanwhile, another fan exclaimed how the show was very boring because of his appearance. Another fan questioned why Kimmel was interviewing the third-best driver at AlphaTauri in an attempt to compare Ricciardo to others at AlphaTauri. Another fan called him ‘PRickiardo’.

The show seemed to be a fun one, although a short episode from Ricciardo. The Aussie needs to desperately get back in the game and string together some impressive results to get the fans talking great about him. Recovering from the hand injury, Ricciardo now seems ready to tackle the challenges in the remaining races.
