The 2023 F1 season was a pretty mediocre season for the American driver Logan Sargeant. The driver failed to impress the paddock in his rookie season at the Grove-based team. However, the paddock does not miss out on fun activities on the grid, as the fans adopt a hilarious meme about the driver.
Since Sargeant is an American driver, he is more accustomed to using the Imperial system of measurement. Subsequently, fans created a hilarious meme where the American questioned, ‘W** is a Kilometer?’, depicting his unknownness to the Metric system of measurement that is used globally including in Formula 1 for speed and distance.
Now, the Formula 1 official page on X posted an end-of-year special poster including the drivers wishing Christmas to the fans. The poster included drivers celebrating Christmas and a hilarious reference of Logan Sargeant to the infamous meme created by the fans.
In the poster, Sargeant is standing in the corner with a t-shirt in his hand. The American is wearing the Williams racing suit and opening a Christmas gift. The T-shirt contains ‘km/h’ written over it. Additionally, there is a question mark over the 22-year-old’s face, further relating to the comedic meme.
Fans reacted to the hilarious meme-reference from Formula 1
In the same tweet on X, Fans reacted funnily to the meme reference in the poster posted by Formula 1’s X handle. One fan commented “The W** is a Kilometer” and recalled the meme-resemblance for the American driver. Another fan tagged Logan Sargeant’s account on X and added “They won’t let this die.” As the meme is likely here to stay until the driver’s stint with Formula 1.
Other fans added that the part about including Sargeant with the t-shirt made them cackle with laughter because of the randomness. However, another fan was critical of this meme-resemblance and called it “Boring and cringe” as they probably did not enjoy the overuse of the meme. Subsequently, some fans laughed over the poster and commented ‘RAHHHH‘, and others called out for help and kept laughing over the comedic reference.

The 2023 season might not have been the best for the American as he did not perform on his A-game. However, Sargeant did score his maiden points in the season by scoring a P10 finish at the Texas GP. The driver has been locked with Williams for the next season despite his mediocre performance as he aims to perform better in the following season of Formula 1.
