F1 fans left in confusion after witnessing an awkward interaction between David Croft and Ted Kravitz

The Dutch Grand Prix weekend has commenced and it hasn’t been the best start for home favourite Max Verstappen and Red Bull who seem to be struggling in Zandvoort. Although this wasn’t the most bizziare event of the day as fans were left confused after an interaction between David Croft and Ted Kravitz on the commentary box.
While most of the cars were in the pits and waiting to go out, the commentator duo was very vague with their words and seemed very out of place.
David Croft is a British television broadcaster for Sky Sports. He is the lead commentator for Sky’s Formula One coverage, a role he has held since 2012. Ted Kravitz on the other hand is an F1 pitlane reporter for Sky Sports F1.
Both of these individuals are colleagues. With the Dutch Grand Prix weekend in full form with there being newly found information about Oscar Piastri moving to McLaren following the CRB hearings. Along with that came the drama from the Sky Sports F1 commentary box. The Sky duo had a small argument while they were on air.
The second practice session of the Dutch GP weekend was underway but the thing that was more amusing to the fans was the awkward interaction between David Croft and Ted Kravitz. Since the cars were in the garage, Crofty turned to Kravitz where he was eager to learn more about the situation at Alpine. Ted on the other hand thought that it was the right time to take a commercial break.

A small bit of drama unfurled between these two individuals which seemed very weird at the time. Some are saying that there was some miscommunication which led to this moment.
The pair then further went on to talk over each other and Crofty in the end repeatedly said “Ted” and asked him about the situation at Alpine. This small argument in turn shocked f1 fans.
David Croft and Ted Kravitz have been in the sport for a long time. With the immense amount of knowledge that they have, it isn’t easy to notice that these kind of interactions have been happening pretty frequently.
