The 2023 driver lineup that has been announced so far has made the fans very excited and thrilled for the upcoming season. AlphaTauri recently announced Nyck De Vries and Yuki Tsunoda as their driver lineup for the 2023 season. The former was chosen after seeing his fabulous performance during the Italian Grand Prix when De Vries ended up scoring points for the team in his debut race after replacing Alex Albon.

The fans were thrilled to see De Vries finally get a seat in F1 after his several achievements in Formula E and other forms of motorsport. The 26-year-old proved himself to be an ideal candidate after his mind-blowing race at Monza which left several fans in awe of his skills.

The fans are excited to see the new driver lineup for the 2023 season and can’t wait to see what the duo will bring to the AlphaTauri team. There have been rumors among F1 fans that there is a possibility for De Vries to replace Perez in the coming years if he performs well within AlphaTauri.

The 2023 AlphaTauri lineup has excited fans and they took to Reddit to discuss this topic and also about how both the drivers are short in nature.

One fan wrote: “In this sport its an advantage.”

Another added: “It’s true. Even though there is a minimum weight requirement for driver+seat, it does not say anything about the centre of gravity. Smaller drivers will have a lower COG which gives them the tinest bit more traction in the corners.”
