Charles Leclerc is a fan favorite in Formula 1. The Mongasque driver has established himself as one of the most talented drivers on the grid. However, luck has often not been on the side of the 26-year-old. This was evident once again as Leclerc had a difficult time skiing on his latest vacation over the F1 winter break.

The 26-year-old had taken a trip to Italy’s Selva Di Val Garden Dolomiti as he was accompanied by some of his friends. The Monegasque driver was looking to enjoy his off-time before the start of the upcoming season. However, things did not go well for Leclerc.

Charles Leclerc fell on the ground a few times during this expedition. Moreover, he had a hard time trying to recover from this embarrassing incident. Perhaps, the Monegasque driver should stick to racing activities as skiing seems to not be one of his talents.

Fans not surprised by Charles Leclerc’s skiing incident

Fans on X had mixed reactions over Leclerc’s skiing outing. One user claimed that they got war flashbacks seeing an F1 driver crash while skiing. F1 legend Michael Schumacher has still not recovered from his infamous incident over a decade ago. The fan wrote, “F**kin got Vietnam flashbacks.”

Another fan reckoned that this was going to be the theme for Charles Leclerc’s entire 2024. Perhaps, the 26-year-old was yet to get some luck this year. The fan replied, “Forecast of his year.” One user referred to an old video when Leclerc and Max Verstappen clashed on track in their karting days. The user commented, “Looks like an inchident.”

Certainly, Charles Leclerc would not be happy with the incident on his trip. Nonetheless, the 26-year-old has learned to laugh on such occasions in recent years. Fans would be hoping that the Monegasque driver gets a strong start to the 2024 F1 season after an underwhelming campaign last year.
