Red Bull Racing entered Formula 1 in 2005 after acquiring the Ford-owned Jaguar team. The Austrian team went on to achieve incredible success in the sport, first with Sebastian Vettel and now with Max Verstappen. Milton Keynes will be competing in its 20th F1 season in 2024. Subsequently, Red Bull has paid homage to its history with an interesting new logo for this year.
The special logo was revealed by the Austrian on its various social media handles. This new design incorporates title sponsor Oracle along with ‘RB’ to highlight Red Bull. Moreover, an ‘R’ is present beside the RB in a smaller font to denote that the logo represents the F1 team.
Additionally, a slash differentiates between the letters and the numbers. The 20 in this special logo highlights Red Bull’s 20th season at the pinnacle of motorsport. The 0 in this design even serves as part of the original Red Bull logo with the famous bull incorporated seamlessly. Certainly, this striking logo will catch the eyes of fans throughout the season.
Red Bull’s second F1 team is in the process of a massive rebranding. The Faenza-based team will be known as Visa CashApp RB for the upcoming season with a polarizing new identity.
Fans not happy with Red Bull’s special logo
Fans on X were quick to express their views on this bold design. One user reckoned that Red Bull as a whole was undergoing a massive identity crisis considering the recent updates to its two F1 teams. The user replied, “Redbull is having Identity crisis. And it’s a major one.”
Another fan mentioned that they could not have imagined that things could get worse after AlphaTauri’s rebrand. However, the Austrian team managed to accomplish such a feat. The fan wrote, “I didnt think it could get worse after the AT rebranded logo but they did it.”
One fan claimed that things at Red Bull seem to have changed drastically after the death of co-founder Dietrich Mateschitz in October 2022. The fan commented, “Something definitely changed in the marketing department since Dietrich left us.”

Certainly, Red Bull’s 20th F1 season logo seems to have not won favor among fans. Red Bull’s parent company has been making more decisions for its two teams since the demise of Dietrich Mateschitz. However, things for the Austrian giant have remained the same in terms of on-track performance. Fans would be hoping that the team does not get meddled by the higher-ups when it comes to trackside operations in the future.
