The first race for the 2024 season of Formula 1 is just a couple of weeks away, with the teams looking ahead to the testing session in Bahrain. Hence, amidst these preparations, Nico Rosberg revealed a wholesome act of the seven-time world champion Lewis Hamilton. Multiple fans also shared their content with the Briton’s acts despite the long-time on-track rivalry between the two drivers.
Hamilton and Rosberg were arch-rivals in Mercedes back when they were teammates from 2013 to 2016. The two fought it out on the track, causing multiple hitches along the way. However, the Briton emerged victorious with two WDCs over the German’s singular championship victory. Rosberg exited the sport following his 2016 victory due to the stress that was caused to him on the track.
Regardless of the battle between the two, Rosberg recently mentioned that everything was presumably well between the two drivers. The 38-year-old mentioned that Hamilton and he met up on Christmas every year. Additionally, the 39-year-old gifted the German’s daughter with a box full of presents at the festival. Hence, it is safe to assume that the two might have rekindled their old friendship before their rival era.
We see each other from time to time; At Christmas, My daughters get a huge box full of presents from him.Rosberg told Süddeutsche Zeitung.
