The Las Vegas GP‘s preparation has been going on in a full-swing mode. The entire circuit is ready for the race ahead of the Las Vegas GP weekend. This race marks the third race taking place in America this season.
The Las Vegas GP was last held in the 1980s called the Caesars Palace Grand Prix and was subsequently removed from the calendar. The track is supposed to return to the Formula 1 calendar after almost 43 years. This GP might be here to stay for at least another decade.

Las Vegas is closely related to chapels and getting married in them. These chapels were placed for people hurrying to get married or for some unplanned marriages. In honor of this tradition, F1 has also built a chapel in the Las Vegas GP paddock for the fans and drivers to enjoy.
In addition to the chapel, the track offers a 17-cornered 6.2km stretch of the circuit. The drivers are anticipating racing in the 1.9km long straight. The track also has a few downsides with its layout. The pit exit seemed problematic to multiple drivers, who expressed concern over it.
Reportedly, the areas around the Las Vegas GP will fall to astounding temperatures. The circuit will be a whopping four °C [39.2 F] during the main race weekend. This will cause heating issues and will cause problems for grip on the fresh tarmac of the circuit. Drivers also talked about the uncertainty of the track as the race is being held for the first time.
Fans react to the Chapel in Las Vegas GP paddock
In a recent tweet on X, the news and images of a Chapel in Las Vegas GP’s paddock were shared. Fans quickly took note of this and troll F1 over this decision. The majority of the fans called this decision as ‘Cringe’ and claimed that F1 was resorting to ‘Gimmicks’ to increase fan attendance at the American circuit.

‘Another rock bottom hit,’ commented one fan over the chapel. Another fan also exclaimed that the race worsened before the main race event. Some fans called this decision a ‘tacky’ one, and another fan claimed that F1 was making a farce by racing in Las Vegas and pleaded with the sport to just stick to the US GP.

Most fans have ill-talked about the chapel, and rightly so. F1 needs to stick to its roots, keep the events purely about racing, and try to include more fun racing action. Regardless, The Las Vegas GP will be a grand show for all the fans worldwide, and the normal weekend will also be a relief for the drivers.
