Gerhard Berger is an Austrian F1 driver whose career in F1 spans more than a decade and with a total of 10 wins credited to his name. Berger has raced against both Ayrton Senna and Michael Schumacher and now feels that Max Verstappen is the greatest driver in his perspective to land on the F1 grid. Berger is a well-known figure in the paddock having raced on the Formula 1 grid himself and he was also involved in the management of a F1 team.
He occupied the spot of racing director in Toro Rosso (now VISA CashApp RB) and held key positions in the FIA and DTM respectively. The Austrian claims that the current dominance of Verstappen could be compared to that of Schumacher in his “monster” era of 2000-04 in the Ferrari when nobody could challenge him. Berger talked about how Michael Schumacher’s seasons of dominance made the F1 fans feel about them.

Berger focused on the racing ability of the Dutchman, how fierce he is on the track, and how he can find tenths out of thin air. Berger currently is focusing on the business that he owns and makes quite a few appearances whenever there is a grand prix weekend.
How did Max Verstappen’s 2023 Formula 1 season play out?
Max Verstappen’s whole season is studded with him breaking generation-old records across the 22 Grands Prix. He began the season with a comfortable win in Bahrain and led his team to a 1-2 finish in the opening race of the season.
Following this, Sergio Pérez gave a tough fight in the street circuits. However, the title challenge from the Mexican was short while it lasted and Verstappen won the following 17 of the 18 Grand Prix, with the Singapore GP being the only exception. He broke the records of Schumacher and Sebastian Vettel, Nigel Mansell, and many other drivers.
With a record-breaking season under his belt, Red Bull’s competitors are working day and night to close the gap to the champions. While Verstappen prepares for the 2024 season with the hope of claiming a “perfect“ season.
