A few days ago, details of an investigation for ‘inappropriate behaviour’ on Red Bull supremo Christian Horner were revealed to the public in a report. Since then, it has been the talk of the town how Horner and the team based in Milton Keynes are going to be affected by all of this. Now new details have come and the name of former FOM head Bernie Ecclestone is thought to be a mediator.
Ecclestone is a renowned name in the F1 paddock and is the former owner of the F1 circus. He has always been considered a person who holds strong opinions and is accused of the downfall of F1 in the early days. Following the allegations against Horner, there is a high chance that he might have to leave his position as team boss. Ecclestone who has a close relationship with the Briton is considered to be trying to mediate the current situation.
Ecclestone has entered the scene according to a recent report, to mediate the situation as Horner had been asked to resign voluntarily. Meanwhile, Horner is solid on his stance and will not voluntarily resign from his post. Horner will be questioned this Friday by the external lawyer that Red Bull Austria had hired and a verdict is expected soon as the RB20 reveal is scheduled for the following Thursday on 15th February.
Why are allegations being made against Christian Horner?
Christian Horner is a name that has been associated with the Red Bull F1 team since its inception in the early 2000s. He is the man who led the way for the Milton Keynes-based outfit and introduced key changes to fight for the championships.

He was the man who recruited some of the key members of the Red Bull program like the magical Adrian Newey, who helped them build one of the best aerodynamic platforms for a F1 car. The Red Bull Junior Driver Academy was started because of him and other personnel, these contributions state his dedication to the Red Bull brand.
However, a fellow Red Bull employee has filed a complaint against the Supremo for ‘inappropriate behaviour’ and Red Bull’s parent company has started an investigation on him. Horner has made it clear that he denies any claims regarding him about the situation and would not give up his post for the same.
