The seven-time world champion, Lewis Hamilton started his career in formula 1 in 2007 at McLaren. After staying with them till 2012, Hamilton transferred to Mercedes in 2013, after their driver Michael Schumacher retired. Since then, Hamilton has driven for Mercedes, winning with them six of his seven world championship titles.

With such a deeply rooted history, Hamilton’s move to any other team would be really heartbreaking for the fans. Till now nothing has been said for sure. In fact, Toto Wolff has said that there are just some minor negotiations regarding the contract that they are settling, but it’s been a long time and still no news of renewals have appeared.

Ferrari has contracts with both Leclerc and Sainz until the end of 2024. Hamilton is yet to announce a team. But with no news from Wolff and no attention from Vasseur, Hamilton’s position in the grid in 2024 is still a mystery.
