Fred Vasseur, the Ferrari Team Principal, has brought a stop the Charles Leclerc seeking a meeting with the Ferrari President rumors. As per the Frenchman, nothing out of the ordinary has happened at the Maranello-based team. Moreover, he has confirmed that a meeting with the President, John Elkann, is scheduled after the Imola GP.
Recently there has been a lot of chatter about unrest within the Ferrari team. The rumors have been making the rounds every day and have caused a lot of panic among Ferrari supporters. It is also believed that Charles Leclerc is not happy with the SF-23 after Bahrain, and thus has been trying to schedule a meeting with Elkann.
However, with his recent interview, Vasseur has tried his absolute best to bring a sense of calmness around the team. While talking about everything that has happened since the 2023 Bahrain GP, he added, “We spoke with the drivers, Elkann and Vigna after winter testing, and we will all speak again together after Imola. These meetings are planned.”
Fred Vasseur, with his comments, has pretty much brought an end to the Leclerc and Elkann meeting saga. He has, in simple words, declared that any meeting between the two would only take place after the Imola GP. It is round 6 of the 2023 F1 season.

Fred Vasseur take on rumors of a rift between him and Benedetto Vigna
Fred Vasseur, with his recent comments, has killed two birds with one stone. First, he has brought an end to the Leclerc and Elkann saga. Second, he has also put a halt to rumors of him having a rift with Benedetto Vigna relating to having enough control over the Ferrari F1 team.
While addressing the rumors, he said, “I have resources and decision-making power that I have never had anywhere else.” Fred Vasseur has admitted that he has got a lot of control over the Maranello-based F1 team and dismissed rumors of him wanting more control.
Looking ahead, the Saudi Arabian Grand Prix is just around the corner. It is going to be fascinating to see how the Italian team would fair at the flowing Jeddah Corniche Circuit against the lights of Max Verstappen and Sergio Perez. Moreover, eyes would also be on the reliability of the SF-23.
Taking into account all the shenanigans that have taken place at Ferrari so far, how do you see the race panning out for Charles Leclerc and Carlos Sainz? Would the duo be able to increase the pressure on Red Bull in the 2023 F1 Championship fight?
