Frederic Vasseur, the new Ferrari team principal, is not wasting any time. The boss has been making significant changes. Inaki Rueda, the chief strategist for the Ferrari Formula One team, has been sent back to the factory. He will continue to provide input and contribute. 2023 is Rueda’s tenth year with the Italian team.
Vasseur undoubtedly has plenty of experience in this field, and the team relies on him to take them forward. He now has the opportunity to make all the changes required and get the team back in the championship fight. Last season, Ferrari had been receiving a lot of criticism, especially targeting the former team principal, Mattia Binotto. The internet was filled with abuse and memes targeting his decision-making. Now all eyes will be on Frederic Vasseur to deliver.
As per the reports by Corriere della sera, Rueda is replaced by Ravin Jain. This Englishman man of Indian Origin who entered the team as a trainee will now take on a big role. He has a huge responsibility to fulfill though it is a satisfying one. Ferrari strategists have always been criticized for their poor calls.
Ferrari might just become a dream team under Frederic Vasseur

Ferrari is hell-bent on not repeating the same mistakes they made last season, be it wrong calculations or a delay in decisions. This season is all about change, and they are more serious than ever. The goal is the same to win a championship and end the 16-year drought. Kimi Raikkonen won the last Formula One world championship for Ferrari in 2007.
The team is ready for the new season, and Vasseur has begun the game of chess. He has also been making some background changes. With his talent and experience, he will take drastic measures for the team’s betterment. He is rational and clear-minded. The team drivers, Charles Leclerc, and Carlos Sainz are already familiar with Vasseur, the former Alfa Romeo team principal.
The 2023 Formula One season is the longest, consisting of 23 races. The pre-season testing is underway, and Sainz and Leclerc have the opportunity to take the SF23 to the track. Ferrari will run different set-ups and gather data to improve their performance. The team was in the title fight last season until several bad calls were made, leading to a series of unfortunate events. With the same pace and good calls this year, Ferrari might just end their long drought and win a championship. And it will surely be celebrated by all the Formula One fan who has been waiting to see the legendary and historic team on top.
