George Russell is among the most exciting racers on the modern F1 grid. While he is brilliant on a racing track, he has several other interests out of it. He was recently spotted at the iconic Old Trafford football stadium with his girlfriend.

Last night, George Russell and his girlfriend, Carmen Montero Mundt, were present in the VIP area at Old Trafford after being invited by INEOS (which holds shares at both Man United and Mercedes). They visited the stadium for the Premier League’s highly anticipated match between Manchester United and Tottenham Hotspur.

As per the pictures that have surfaced, the cute duo can be seen having a great time taking in the rocking atmosphere of a high-profile clash. Moreover, they even had the opportunity to go pitchside and click some pictures.

Russell, being a Brit, takes an immense interest in football and it is not the first time that he was spotted at a stadium. Some time ago, he was seen having a good time at the West Ham United stadium for a high-octane clash.

George Russell has an important 2024 F1 season heading his way

While George Russell is making the most of his off-time from the pinnacle of motor racing, he has work to do ahead of the upcoming F1 season. He needs to start putting in the work to get in optimum shape as the first race is not too far away.

The 25-year-old did not have the best of campaigns last year and considering this, he would need to up his game. Lewis Hamilton, the former 7-time world champion, had the upper hand on him throughout 2023.

George Russell is a prolific racing driver and is rated very highly by Toto Wolff. The 2024 F1 season will provide the former with a fresh start and it would be interesting to see how he would perform in Mercedes’s W15.
