Haas signs new sponsorship deal with “innovation” giants after Uralkali deal termination
Transfermate
Haas Formula One team has recently announced that they have signed a new sponsorship deal with Transfermate Global Payments and have got them on board as an official team partner.
With the arrival of Transfermate, the American team has managed to bolster its sponsorship ranks and this will bode well for the team during the 2022 F1 season.
Before the start of the 2022 season, there were concerns regarding the financial health of the team as in wake of Russia’s invasion of Ukraine, the team decided to terminate their deal with their Russian sponsor URALKALI and this left the team a little light on financial terms.
However, the team previously made it clear that finances were not a concern, with “good interest” present from companies looking to link up with Haas.
The new team partner Transfermate will help out the team by providing “cross-border payments services through its unrivaled global payments infrastructure.”
The American team with its announcement has made it very clear that the new deal is a “worldwide partnership” and this will see the branding of Transfermate appear on the Hass VF-22 and also on the gear of drivers Mick Schumacher and Kevin Magnussen.
Guenther Steiner on the new Haas deal
Guenther Steiner the team Principal has also weighed in on the situation and has said, “We’re delighted to welcome TransferMate and we look forward to a productive working partnership in 2022 and beyond.”
“It’s clear that as a brand TransferMate prides itself on the delivery of the very best product.”
“We share that ethos and ultimately, we’re both in sectors where innovation is rewarded and actions need to be executed with confidence and precision. Efficiency is key to everything we do in Formula 1 and working with TransferMate adds another deliverable to our operations.”
Just like Steiner, Sinead Fitzmaurice the CEO of Transfermate is also very pleased with their association with Haas and has said, “We’re delighted to become an official team partner of Haas F1 Team. The partnership brings together two like-minded organizations, each with a strong commitment to challenging norms through innovation.”
“We’re looking forward to seeing our partnership group throughout the 2022 Formula 1 season. It promises to be a very exciting year for both ourselves and the Haas team. It’s only fitting that we’re joining forces on the road ahead and setting new standards of excellence for the future.”
Both parties are delighted with the new deal and given the solid start that the Haas team has gotten off to during 2022, having additional sources on board will help the team in developing the car efficiently on the go and this will improve the team’s chances of finishing towards the north end of the mid-field table at the end of the season.
