“That’s why I’m looking forward to Spielberg, because it will be exciting between these three teams on such a short circuit. It will only get closer together because of that and I am really looking forward to that,” said Verstappen with reference to the upcoming Austrian Grand Prix.

”We must not forget Red Bull, because they are always strong at the Red Bull Ring. Verstappen will also drive in front of an ‘orange wall’ again, because it looks like half the Netherlands will be there again. It will be a great atmosphere. That was the case all weekend at Silverstone as well,” concluded Glock.

The Austrian Grand Prix will be conducted from 8 July-10 July 2022 in the Red Bull Ring in  Spielberg, Styria, Austria. Carlos Sainz Jr., driving for McLaren in the 2020 Styrian Grand Prix, established the official lap record for the current track configuration in 1:05.619.
