Former F1 driver raises concerns over Lewis Hamilton’s ability to ‘handle the Ferrari system’
Lewis Hamilton could join a long list of F1 champions who failed to succeed with Ferrari in F1.

Lewis Hamilton will be racing for Scuderia Ferrari from 2025. The seven-time world champion will don red for the first time in his F1 career. However, it could be a challenge for the 39-year-old to adapt to the culture of the Italian team. Now, former F1 driver Hans-Joachim Stuck has reckoned that Hamilton could find it difficult to work with Ferrari after spending over a decade at Mercedes.
The German highlighted that there have been multiple world champions who have tried to win for Ferrari. Sebastian Vettel and Fernando Alonso are two former world champions who failed to bring glory to Maranello. Stuck claimed that the Scuderia has a different system which could be difficult for a special personality such as Lewis Hamilton.

The 73-year-old reckoned that things were done differently at Maranello. Lewis Hamilton would need to become a subordinate in certain situations which the Briton has certainly not done in the past. Stuck mentioned that the Italian press would report even the smallest details of Ferrari which could surprise Lewis Hamilton.
Everything works there just a little bit differently. Now he has to subordinate himself and he is certainly not used to that.
