‘He contributes to climate change by the fuel combustion’: Nico Rosberg lashes out at Sebastian Vettel for hypocritical claims

Nico Rosberg and Sebastian Vettel

Nico Rosberg has come out to criticize Sebastian Vettel for his claims concerning climate change when he itself contributes to that. Sebastian Vettel along with Lewis Hamilton have been one of the few drivers who have always spoken their minds and also encouraged the other drivers to do so. Both of them believe in bringing about a meaningful change in the society.

The 4 time world champion, Vettel, has been in the firing line because most of the pundits feel that the German is more concerned about these things than the task at hand. It’ll be safe to say that it’s been one of the worst starts of the season for Aston Martin and Sebastian Vettel. But, it cannot be totally put down to Sebastian because of Aston Martin’s awful job with the car.

In one of the interviews to Eurosport, Nico Rosberg talked about this conflict with Sebastian Vettel. He said, “On the one hand, he is emotionally involved in the fight to support the environment with many actions. On the other hand, he contributes with the trips and the fuel combustion itself contributes to climate change.”

“The 2016 world champion thinks that Vettel conveys his concerns authentically and credibly.”

“It would be asking a lot to give up your biggest passion. But if you are committed to fighting climate change and supporting the issue at the same time, that’s fine,” as reported my motorsport.

Nico Rosberg is partly right when he says that Sebastian Vettel is not backing his claims. But, it almost impossible for him to do and it’s equally important to send the right message.
