Marko has faced backlash in the last couple of months for his alleged xenophobic comments against Sergio Perez. Although, the 80-year-old had apologized for his remarks. With Checo insisting that all is good between the two. The Red Bull consultant revealed that the Austrian team has been in talks with Mexicans as F1 heads to the country this weekend.

Marko clarified that most fans in Mexico have always been fair and friendly throughout the years. However, the Red Bull advisor pointed out that a small, rather enthusiastic group of fans have often been unsporty towards the team. Nevertheless, Marko assured Red Bull has no issues traveling for the Mexican GP.
The majority are very friendly and fair, but there are always some, let’s say enthusiastic people, who don’t maintain the fair sporting standard. But we have no concerns and are happy to go to Mexico.
Marko told Sky Germany.
