Max Verstappen has made it a habit of steamrolling his competitors during the ongoing 2023 F1 season. Red Bull has got the best car on the grid but it’s team adviser, Helmut Marko has claimed that the main reason behind the team’s dominance is the incredible racing ability of the Dutchman.
Max Verstappen has so far managed to win a highly impressive 10 Grand Prix events with none of the other drivers being able to pose even the slightest of challenge. His teammate, Sergio Perez has also got the same weaponry underneath him but he is nowhere to be seen around Verstappen in the 2023 Drivers Championship.
Helmut Marko is very pleased with the 25-year-old’s 2023 run and while applauding him ahead of his home race, he told Soymotor, “Of course we have a very good car, we have improved compared to last year. Our rivals, Ferrari and Mercedes, have been surprisingly disappointing . They have remained at the same level and still suffer from a wide variety of problems.”
“But the advantage, which sometimes reaches half a minute at the finish, lies with Max Verstappen, not the car . You have to compare him with Sergio Pérez, who is definitely one of the five fastest drivers. Also, on average, Verstappen is medium second fastest in qualifying; then in the race the situation is the same.”

Max Verstappen will have a lot of support at the 2023 Dutch GP
While Helmut Marko has left no stone unturned in applauding Max Verstappen for his amazing racing ability, the latter could achieve a special milestone in front of his home fans at the Dutch GP. He will have a lot of support at the upcoming event and the circuit would most probably be painted orange.
The Dutchman is currently on an eight race win streak and has a change of eqaulling Sebestian Vettel’s record of winning nine races in a row. Intrestingly, Vettel achieved the feat with the Milton-Keynes-based team as well. Consideing this, the fans would give their all in cheering Verstappen on during the race.
Max Verstappen has perfromed in a league of his own this year and what Dr. Marko has said about him is absolutely true. He is the difference maker at Red Bull and at the upsoming race, he would again be the favorite to do his thing and mesmerize the whole circuit with his stupendous racing skills.
