AlphaTauri is the sister team of Red Bull in F1. It is part of Red Bull’s junior driver program, where they allow young drivers to race in F1 for AlphaTauri, and if they prove their worth, they are promoted to Red Bull. Helmut Marko recently talked about how they would change the functioning of the two teams in 2024.
Marko said that Red Bull would increase its direct involvement in AlphaTauri’s operations as much as the regulations would allow them. This includes a complete takeover of the in-house designs and the entire marketing department of AlphaTauri.
“There is a clear instruction that everything that is allowed by the regulations must be taken over from Red Bull Racing. No more in-house designs, no more idiosyncrasies in Faenza and the synergies will be used where possible and also where Red Bull Racing is better, for example in the whole marketing department and the like,” said Marko.

Christian Horner puts the development of RB-19 to rest, and will start focusing on next year
The RB-19 has been the deal-breaker this season. With its unmatched pace, Red Bull has crushed their opponents with ease. As ten races remain this season, Red Bull principal Christian Horner has revealed that Red Bull will not bring any more major upgrades to the car.
Horner said that apart from some minor circuit-specific upgrades, they won’t be bringing anything new to their car. Red Bull also has a ten percent reduction in wind tunnel time due to the cost cap breach in 2021. Due to this, Horner said that they will now be focusing on developing their 2024 car and must prioritize how they use their resources.
“I think that’s pretty much it. There will be some circuit specific bits and pieces, but we’ve got six months to come up with another one, and with a lot less wind tunnel time than our opponents. That’s where we’ve got to be really selective in how we use our resources,” Horner told Sky Sports.
Red Bull will be looking to extend their winning streak in Zandvoort, their star driver Max Verstappen’s home race. The Milton-Keynes-based team has won 12 out of 12 races this season and shows no signs of stopping soon.
