Formula One fans go above and beyond to express their love and support for their favorite drivers and teams. F1 fans demonstrate dedication by autographing merch and waiting in line for a single selfie with the drivers, solidifying their unquestionable passion. While tattoos related to the sport are not uncommon, Max Verstappen himself may have regretted getting inked.
A big fan of the two-time world champion has tattooed five of his wins in big, bold letters all the way across his back. The last was the Dutchman’s win at the 2019 Spanish Grand Prix. However, after Barcelona in 2019, Verstappen won 39 additional races. What may have started as a joke after the 2016 Spanish Grand Prix won by Verstappen has now gotten a little out of hand for this superfan.
Max Verstappen now has 44 career wins and two world titles at the young age of 25 years. The driver Red Bull has achieved a lot of success in recent years. With the command Red Bull has over this year’s F1 grid, Max’s number of wins is most definitely going to increase.
Max Verstappen’s supporter faces fan disapproval over tattoo decision
According to the viral image on Twitter, the Max Verstappen fan has five wins inked on him. It didn’t take long for netizens to wonder where he tattooed the rest of the Dutchman’s wins. Twitter did the math and widely speculated about this individual’s lack of tattoo space on his back.
One user Tweeted suggesting the man’s entire body would be covered in ink if he continued to honor Max Verstappen in such a manner. “If he goes on till Verstappen retiring, his whole body will be tattooed,” the Tweet read. Another user claimed that Max’s other wins were irrelevant, “He only tattooed legit wins, so he dont have any new ones,” they Tweeted.
While many users highlighted the ridiculousness of the entire scenario. One Tweeted, “What a loser,” while a different user Tweeted this, “What a pathetic man.” A different user pointed out the fan’s disbelief in his favorite driver. “The font size he went with didn’t show much confidence in his favourite driver.”
Red Bull and Max Verstappen have been unstoppable this season. The deadly duo of the two has broken several records this season, including McLaren’s most wins in a row. Max Verstappen currently leads the drivers’ standings by 281 points ahead of his teammate Sergio Perez.
