“Honestly, I didn’t find it frustrating” Lewis Hamilton revealed he wasn’t stressed out being stuck behind Fernando Alonso

Lewis Hamilton finished P8 in the 2022 Monaco Grand Prix after starting 8th on the grid he didn’t get a chance to get ahead of his position credit to the wall Fernando Alonso managed to create between them. Alonso managed to finish P7 after a crash in the Q3 on Saturday.
Fernando Alonso knows how to make the Mercedes driver struggle when he is behind him, he did it last time in Hungry 2021, another race that faced rain and a ‘bowling’ show in the first match. Thanks to the Spaniard, his teammate Ocon won his first-ever race after Hamilton finished 3rd but he could have altered the result that day.
Hamilton hasn’t been stuck behind trying to overtake the whole for the first time in Monaco, last season he was behind the Alpha Tauri of Pierre Gasly throughout the race and finished 7th on that occasion. A similar thing happened this Sunday as well, but it didn’t quite affect the 7-time world champion this time around.
“Honestly, I didn’t find it frustrating. It is what you expect around here in Monaco. I knew once I qualified behind one of them that it would be like that,” said Hamilton. He said, he knows custom Monaco and comes up with suggestions to “live and learn and move on.”
Lewis Hamilton was again beaten by his teammate
Lewis Hamilton has been struggling a lot this season with only one podium to his name he is miles behind his teammate in terms of head to head battle. George Russell is the new member of the Mercedes group, he wasn’t here with the expectations to beat his teammate all around but has managed to do it until now.
Russell is the only driver to finish in P5 in all the races, he has backed 2 podiums until no and is on the fourth stand of the championship table. He has managed to score 84 points till now and is 34 points above Hamilton.
