Lewis Hamilton has a huge fanbase of ardent followers all over the World, and one such example of it was seen during the Belgium Grand Prix where a couple postponed their honeymoon just to get a glimpse of the former 7-time World Champion.

Lewis Hamilton is driving a W13 this season that has proved difficult to handle in comparison to Ferrari and Red Bull’s liveries, but despite this fact, the fanbase of Lewis Hamilton still loves him through and through.

However, the fan’s wishes of seeing the Brit zoom past the Spa Francorchamps Circuit were put to a halt when he collided with Fernando Alonso on the very first lap of the race and went flying into the air.

The Mercedes F1 team has struggled immensely this season, but on the back of solid results before the start of the summer break, it was believed that the Brackley-based team was going to make a strong comeback against the top two teams during the im-progress second phase.

However, things haven’t panned out the way the team wanted, and now they have got a lot of work on their hands in order to get as close as possible to Ferrari and Red Bull.

Mercedes, after 14 rounds, has got 316 points to its name in the Constructors Champion, and the only thing that they can really challenge for this season is the second spot, which is currently under the firm grip of the Ferrari F1 team.
