“I appreciate you,” Lewis Hamilton thanks his team and fans for their ‘relentless’ support at Spa

Lewis Hamilton had a terrible race at the Spa-Francorchamps Circuit but despite that has recently come up with a thank you message for his team and the fans that were present at the event.
Lewis Hamilton’s Belgian Grand Prix run came to an abrupt halt on the very first lap of the race when he closed the gap from the outside on the front running Alpine and paid the price for it by becoming airborne and sustaining damage on the W13 that was enough for him to take an early exit from the race.
However, despite the disappointing outing, Hamilton has taken out time to thank his team and the fans and via his Instagram handle has shared a post with the caption, “Even though the weekend didn’t go the way we wanted, after an amazing break it was so good to be back at work.”

“I love my job, and my team, and I loved the energy at Spa. Thank you to the team for all the hard work and thank you to the fans that came out to show love, I appreciate you.”
Lewis Hamilton has not won a single race during the 2022 F1 season

Lewis Hamilton was the absolute best in F1 till the 2021 season when he was able to win races for fun and was also able to secure World Championships.
However, with the dawn of the new regulations in the sport, Mercedes has taken a step backward with the development of its car, and it has cost Lewis Hamilton and the team dearly as they not have been able to register even a single race win this year.
Lewis Hamilton has secured quite a few podiums but the first race win of the 2022 season has still eluded the 37-year-old and the Brackley-based team.

There are 8 races remaining in the current F1 campaign, and considering the massive drop that Mercedes is experiencing in terms of performance this year, it is very unlikely that they would be able to win a race this year.
