Lewis Hamilton, a seven time world champion, has faced critics throughout his life. Lewis is arguably the greatest of all time and is amazing with his work. But he has realised criticism is part of the sport and has been making his move through everything. He opens with with his wishlist of not being under influence of those poeple that ridicule the drivers after retirement.
Lewis lost his eighth title last season after a heartbreaking turn of events in the last race. After the 2021 loss Lewis hasn’t turned up with his best in the present season as well. Now with Sebastian Vettel ending his career after a 16 year stint, poeple turn over to Lewis for his decision ahead of the contract with Mercedes that continues with the end of 2023. Lewis hasn’t cleared any of his thoughts about retirement but thinks of taking his career ahead of 2023.
But none of this can deny him of a retirement tomorrow, after retirement he confesses to stay as he is. “I’ll always want to be someone that’s being positive to whichever drivers that are here. Good or bad, because you know how difficult it is to start,” GPblog quoted the Briton.
Lewis Hamilton on facing Critics
Lewis Hamilton has been with critics since he started his career. With every bad race comes criticism for the best driver and this was pretty evident amid the title fight last year. Lewis has seen bad days with McLaren and Mercedes but he has always made a better comeback than his setback.
“Good or bad, because you know how difficult it is to start,” said Lewis.
Lewis Hamilton has been through a tough 2022 season with no chances wins as of now. But he is marking a better comeback with a streak of 5 podiums in the last five races probably beating the best team with a car not even quick enough to battle the best.
