“I don’t regret racing with a Dutch license,” Max Verstappen breaks silence on nationality debate
Max Verstappen
Max Verstappen is one of the most successful Dutch drivers and one of the greatest drivers to ever step inside the car. But very few people know his Max is half Belgian and half Dutch but he chooses the Netherlands as his nationality to race for. Verstappen opens up to be grateful to have a 50-50 chance to race for both the nations together.
Max Verstappen was the only Dutch to win a Formula 1 champion. Being only a 24-year-old, Verstappen has done wonders to his name and mostly his country. Not only Max but his various friends from the same place are best on their field Martin Garrix in the music world or Virgil Van Dijk in football. When it comes to racing in all formats I highly doubt there is someone above Max Verstappen to get their name on the list as a Dutch driver.
Max opens up about being a two nationalities person, “I was born and raised in Belgium. I went to school just across the border, but soon after I returned to the Netherlands where I had the go-kart and the workshop. I don’t regret racing with a Dutch license. I’m happy to be 50- 50,” said Max.
Max Verstappen dominating the 2022 season
Max Verstappen is joking around the track in the 2022 season. The old aggressive Max seems to have faded out with a less competitive environment him. Mercedes posed Max the biggest threat and he overcome them strongly starting his prime era.
2022 is Max Verstappen’s prime with a victory in 9 out of the 14 races. He is ahead of any other driver to reach and recently he won two of the races outside the top 10. Max seems to do the impossible in the car that isn’t really the fastest around the track.
Max Verstappen is leading the championship with 98 points with his closest rival Charles Leclerc third in the championship after countless mistakes done by him and his team. Red Bull is 118 points ahead of Ferrari and things are now settling in the favour of Red Bull as the champions of both titles.
