Daniel Ricciardo’s luck at McLaren is running out. The Australian is presently in poor form, and where McLaren can score a couple of points with Lando Norris, Ricciardo is trailing behind his British teammate. He didn’t appear to be confident in the MCL36, and Monaco is a difficult weekend.
German former racing driver Ralf Schumacher has caught this detail too and he wonders if putting the Australian driver under contract with the Woking-based racing team until 2023 was a wise decision.
“The rumors and also the voices within the team are getting louder and louder. He’s just too far behind his teammate,” said Schumacher who’s also the younger brother of Formula One legend and 7-time World Championship winner Michael Schumacher.

Is this the end of the road for Daniel Ricciardo and McLaren?
Ricciardo’s collision in the second free practice race, according to Schumacher, did not help him gain some ground. However, he is interested in how the Australian sees his own prospect. McLaren CEO and American businessman Zak Brown has already stated forthrightly that Ricciardo will be obligated to accomplish.
He has also stated that he wishes to improve. So Ricciardo already has an agreement with the team next season, but Schumacher claims that agreement can be terminated if both sides no longer ultimately agree.
“He has to start turning it around now because if it stays the way it is now, I don’t see him driving at McLaren next year,” added Schumacher in reference to the dire need for Ricciardo for produce some spectacular results now.
