Timo Glock was wholly impressed with Max Verstappen’s performance at the Belgian GP. Max Verstappen won the Belgian GP in a very dominating manner and proved his worth in Infront of the world, now considering him as one of the best drivers in Formula 1. It was Max’s 9th win of the season and is more or less has his hands on his second title.

Max Verstappen started 14th on the grid after taking hai engine penalties. Charles Leclerc his rival this season started just behind him. Max won the race by a margin of 18 seconds, on the other hand, Charles Leclerc only stood a chance for P5 but later on got a penalty and was demoted to P6. Verstappen was in his own league after getting a win on two continuous races starting P10 or lower.

Timo Glock opens up with his praises for Max, “It’s a combination of further development and Max Verstappen, who is doing incredibly well. That’s why I don’t think he will give up the reins. With a 98-point lead, a lot would have to go wrong for him not to win the title, ” said Timo.

With Dutch GP next up, Max is expected to continue his form as he stands unrivalled at his home race last season. Zandvoort is one of Max’s favourite tracks after he won a dominating race with the Mercedes last time around. Timo Glock also expects the same from Max at his home race.

“I expect a big Max Verstappen party at Zandvoort. From Thursday to Sunday the Dutch will carry him in their arms. I can well imagine that he will continue his victory lap there,” said Timo.

Max Verstappen is now leading the championship with 98 points. Red Bull is also way ahead of Ferrari to reach them with a gap of 118 points. As Monza is upcoming, Ferrari will look forward to regaining their lost form in order to see the Tifosi smile again at home.
