Today’s result was all the more important after his teammate Russell crashed out within the first 21 seconds of the race and Hamilton while dwelling on his performance said, “I gave it everything today. I was trying to chase down those Ferraris. Congratulations to Carlos! They were just too quick for us today. In the end, I was in that battle with Checo and those guys were just too quick on the straights.”

The Silverstone Grand Prix was full of nerve-wracking action as the race produced moments that are going to stay fresh in the memories of fans for some time to come.

Lewis Hamilton during the closing stages was at the center of the chaos that was happening around him as there were five cars trying to secure the top three places.

Hamilton while stressing about the crazy action said, “We lost a bit of time warming up. The pace was great on both tires. When you get a Red Bull behind you they are so quick on the straight. I am glad everyone is safe after the big crash at the start.”
