“I had a small fight with Carlos,” Charles Leclerc disappointed starting behind Max Verstappen after losing the Sprint race

Charles Leclerc failed to win the Sprint race and is starting P2 behind his rival Max Verstappen, who won the 100KM race, with everything under his control. Charles failed to get the pole position on Friday with a bare minimum of hundredth of a second and hoped to get things right on Saturday with the Sprint format on the go.
Charles Leclerc had an amazing start, he went right beside Max Verstappen on Turn 1 but failed to take the lead with the outside line, he later also got overtook by his teammate, Carlos Sainz, who got a slightly better reaction time than Leclerc. As the the first lap came to an end, Max flew much ahead of both the Ferraris, fighting behind the leader for the second position. Leclerc ultimately won the battle with his teammate but the Red Bull driver got much ahead of him to fight for more.
Ferrari driver addressed everything on the post race interview, “It was tricky. We were pushing but at the beginning, we tried to save the tyres,” He explained his startergy.
“I then had a small fight with Carlos. At the end I could only start pushing and got a bit closer, but it was very close between us,” Charles was left surprised with the fight Carlos intervened with.

Charles Leclerc stays optimistic about the main race
Charles Leclerc and Max are starting on the front row, with all the chance Infront of the Ferrari driver, he hopes for the similar start he had today and will go on head to head against the Red Bull driver, starting turn 1. Max now has gained another point advantage to Leclerc over the championship.
“But tomorrow is the race and hopefully we can have as good a start as today and put more pressure on Max,” said Charles.
“I hope we can work well together tomorrow,” concluded Leclerc with the hopes to work together with his teammate to beat the rivals.
With Carlos on P3, Ferrari can attack the RED Bull side with a good Startergy and can fight for the dearly win. Sergio Perez, on the other hand, had a fantastic race starting P13 after his lap time got deleted on Friday, he now starts P5 behind the Mercedes driver George Russell on P4.
