“I have done my prep on the sim,” Lando Norris “cautious” about bad memories in Montreal

Lando Norris the McLaren Formula One driver has given his thoughts on the upcoming Canadian Grand Prix and has indicated that he is ready for the challenge.
Lando Norris last raced in Canada in 2019 and at that time the Brit did not have the best of experiences. Norris was not able to finish the because of a suspension failure on his car.
In 2019 it was believed that the failure was caused by excessive-high brake temperatures that brought Norris’s McLaren to an abrupt halt.
The upcoming weekend’s Grand Prix is going to be Lando’s chance at redeeming himself and ahead of the race the Brit has said, “I’m excited to be heading back to Canada. It will be my second time racing there so it’ll be great to get back on track in front of the Canadian fans.”
“The 2019 race certainly didn’t end the way I wanted it to, so I’m looking forward to getting back on track and giving it my all. I’ve done my prep on the sim and I feel up for the challenge in these new cars.”

Lando Norris wants to move further up in Drivers standings
The young Brit after 8 rounds is currently sitting in 7th place in the Drivers standings with 50 points to his name and ahead of the Canadian adventure has indicated that he wants to further improve on it.
“Baku was difficult with the windy conditions, but it was important to get a double points finish for the team.”
“We still have some work to do to get further up the grid, but I’m confident we will get there, and we have a great team of people working at track and back at the factory to continually push us forward.”
Lando has admitted that at the moment they are not where they wanted to be but has shown faith in the McLaren team to develop the car further as the 2022 season is going to progress.
It will be interesting to see how much the papaya-colored would be able to improve this season.
