The first edition of the Miami GP is here in all its glamour. The race has got everyone excited and is expected to receive a huge footfall given the hype and the recent exponential growth of F1 in the United States. With two long straights on the track, Red Bull is said to have an advantage over the rest of the grid.
And for the special race, i.e, the Miami GP, Max Verstappen, the reigning champion has revealed a special helmet for a “special weekend.” The helmet is flashy and features neon colors to add to the vibe of the city on the helmet.
With Miami written on blue, the design surely stands out. While revealing, the Dutch driver also confessed he’s very excited to be in Miami. In the reveal video, Max said, “So I’m really excited to be there, and I thought, why not add a bit of a Miami Vice flavor to it? Actually, I really like this one. I think it’s one of my favorite ones.”
Max Verstappen not the only one with Miami’s fever
The fever of the Miami GP is running wild. The race is being called the new Monaco GP, with plenty of celebrities expected to attend the race. The drivers arrived in the city early to explore and have time with their loved ones there.
George Russell shared a picture on Twitter from a beach, captioned- Miami, I like your vibe. The Mercedes driver was also spotted courtside during the Miami Heats NBA match.
McLaren’s Lando Norris went for a lap on the track alongside Miami Heats star Jimmy Butler. On the other hand, Daniel Ricciardo made an appearance on Trevor Noah’s The Daily Show and Lewis Hamilton on Good Morning America.
