“I think the circuit is monstrous,” Sebastian Vettel unimpressed with the decision to race on ‘dangerous’ Las Vegas streets

Sebastian Vettel and the Las Vegas Grand Prix 2023
Sebastian Vettel doesn’t seem impressed with the FIA’s decision to race on the streets of Las Vegas, starting in 2023. Las Vegas would be the third American circuit on the calendar and has already received a lot of praise from the generic audience, but isn’t the choice for the 4-time world champion. But this isn’t the first time Las Vegas will be seeing a Grand Prix.
Formula 1 is returning with a Las Vegas Grand Prix, in 1981 and 1982, the city of casinos had already witnessed 2 races but never after that. In the 80s it was not a street race that the city witnessed but the car actually ran in the parking lot of one of the casinos. But the Las Vegas now would be a street race that too under the night of lights, around the casinos.
Although all the other drivers are quite excited to race under lights in Las Vegas, the Aston Martin Driver gave his reasons for his less interest in the new track. “I think it’s too crowded and people behave badly there,” Sebastian Vettel driver is quoted by FormulaPassion.it .
Sebastian Vettel also comes with the alternative to the new Las Vegas Grand Prix

The 34-year-old mentioned his uninterest in the new Las Vegas Grand Prix but came with the new circuit, which he seemed to say was quite a challenging one. He brought a new track as a consideration to replace the new American, the Bathurst.
Bathurst is an Australian track under grade 3 status of the FIA notebook, but the Aston Martin driver mentioned it to be a monstrous track for racing. “I would rather go to Bathurst. It would be a real challenge, also because I think that circuit is monstrous,” says Vettel. Anyhow it will still need a renovation to reach the grade 1 status for the FIA.
Sebastian Vettel is P15 on the driver’s championship standings with 5 points and struggling Aston Martin is P9.
