Mercedes has attempted to clarify why, like rivals Red Bull Racing and Ferrari, they feel it is essential to lift the $140 million budget cap. Everything has become much more exorbitant, and estimates made heading into the season may be thrown out as a direct consequence.

Toto Wolff is making another push for an increment in the highest spending plan in 2022. Mercedes, Ferrari, and Red Bull have banded together, trying to claim that rising fuel prices and money supply have caused everything to become massively more cost prohibitive.
